| The Card Office (W20-021) is now selling Shaw's Gift cards. They are available in $25, $50 and $100 increments, and can be purchased with TechCASH or cash.
No fees or surcharges apply. Check the navigation bar on the right for our office hours. |

| New and Improved Online Deposits |

| We've made improvements to the Online Deposit functionality. Now it's simpler to add money to your TechCASH account. Just click on Make a Deposit or Quick Deposit and choose either to deposit via credit card to your TechCASH, Dining Dollars, Library, Express, or Rewards plan using the drop down list. Or if you're a student or parent with guest access, you can select the Account Tab and sign in via the log in screen or MIT certificate. |

| MIT Credit Union rebates deposit fee! |

| The MIT Federal Credit Union will rebate the $1.50 TechCASH processing fee for new members starting with their very first transfer using MITFCU debit or credit card(s) and the limit is one rebate ($1.50) per calendar month.
The member would need to notify MITFCU of this transaction and once confirmed, MITFCU will rebate their MITFCU account. |

| TechCASH at MIT Libraries |

| Now you can use your TechCASH account to make purchases at the MIT Libraries self-service copiers.
Over the summer, new multi-function devices and TechCASH readers were installed. The legacy copy cards will be retired as of 10/31/2008. |

| Student TechCASH Deposits made on May 12, were duplicated and posted twice; once on May 12 and again on May 13. We are working with MIT IS&T to determine the cause and reverse the charges. |

| Some transactions from LaVerdes on 12/3/07 were posted as refunds instead of sales by the cashier. On 12/4/07 we reversed the original refund and then reposted a correct sale amount. |

Deposits must be made on-line by credit card or by authorizing a charge to a student account. Deposits can also be made in our office by authorizing a charge to a student account. |

| Student Rewards and Recognition Plans |

| If you have participated in a survey or contest in which you receive TechCASH funds, it will be placed in a plan called Student Rewards and Recognition. The TechCASH system will draw funds for purchases from this account first, before your regular TechCASH plan. If you see a low balance amount after making purchases, it could be displaying the balance of your rewards account. If your next purchase is for more than the balance in your rewards account, don't worry...the system will automatically take the remainder from your regular TechCASH account. |

| Disable Building Access |

| Use our website to turn off building access and TechCASH. Click on the Lost Card link and your TechCASH account will be instantly disabled. Within minutes your building access will be disabled as well. These features can be turned on by clicking on the same link. |

| Closing Accounts |

| If you are leaving MIT this semester and would like to close your account, please email techcash@mit.edu. Your refund will be made in the same manner in which it was deposited (credit card or student account).
